Road Trip: Southern Belle Breakfast

 The Southern Belle truckstop, we were confidently informed, serves the best breakfast in Berkeley Springs.

 

 

I'm not in the business of promoting eateries but credit where it's due.... If this wasn't the best American diner breakfast I'd ever had, it ran it pretty close. Health fanatics look away now.....

 

                                                            

 Those are three huge, thick, fluffy hotcakes (aka pancakes) underneath by the way. The advantage was, I didn't need to worry about lunch, or indeed meals for the rest of the week.

ps I didn't eat it all.
